Sonic Sorcery Studios located in Austin, Texas, is owned and operated by Kurtis Sky.

Kurtis has more than 25 years experience composing, playing and recording all types of music. He has studied with such greats as Dizzie Gillespie, Karel Husa and Frank Zappa. He has a B.A. in Music Theory/Composition and a Masters in Psychology.

Kurt is guitarist/vocalist and producer for various musical projects including his own Kurtis Sky and the Lightshine,The Movie, Bluesky Way, and Language House. Kurt is assisted by a cadre of excellent interns who get to learn while under careful supervision in the recording and production process.
